My son and I had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Frenchy. It wasn’t an ideal day for fishing, but he made it happen and kept us on the water with confidence. We truly had “the one that got away”—he estimated it was close to a 30-inch trout. We got it right up to the boat before it slipped the hook. Not long after, we landed some beautiful, large spotted trout. I’ve been fishing for years and was impressed by how much Captain Frenchy knows and how well he can find fish, even when the bite is tough. Book with him—you won’t be disappointed!

My son and I, both coming from Florida, had an awesome time fishing with Captain Frenchy. We picked up a lot of insight about how the local waters differ from what we’re used to, and really appreciated his knowledge and the scenery along the way. He adjusted the trip to match what we were looking for—adding some speed for my teenager and giving me time to check out the nearby fort. We landed our first speckled trout, a croaker, and even a blue crab, which made the trip even more memorable. It was clear he put in the effort to locate fish, and his ability to spot them was impressive. He made sure the experience fit exactly what we wanted. I never realized there were so many bass in brackish water—it’s definitely different from what we’re used to back home in Florida. The fishing was a bit challenging, but Captain Frenchy got us on fish. We caught bass, speckled trout, redfish, and black drum. The trip felt a little short, but we still managed to land some nice catches. We even almost kept a stingray, but decided to release it. I highly recommend Captain Frenchy, and if we get the chance, we’ll definitely be using his services again!

Captain Frenchy takes his work seriously and it shows. He guided my 14-year-old daughter and me on a day when conditions weren’t ideal, and we knew it might be a challenge. Still, he quickly read the water and got us on fish early. When the bite slowed, he stayed focused—moving us to new spots and trying different approaches to keep us in the action. Even with the tougher conditions, we enjoyed a beautiful morning in the gulf marsh, spotting gators and other wildlife along the way. We really enjoyed spending time with Captain Frenchy, and he even shared a great recommendation for fresh oysters on our way back to the city. Overall, it was money well spent. Thank you, Captain!

Super nice and accommodating—had a great time! Even if we hadn’t caught any fish, it still would’ve been a blast, but he has an uncanny ability to find them. You really can’t go wrong with Captain Frenchy.

The fishing was rough but Frenchy still made sure we went home with a full cooler. He is excellent at what he does and is very comfortable and entertaining to be around. We will definitely return for another trip with Frenchy!!

Awesome trip and experience !! My girlfriend and I couldn’t be happier with our half day private charter. Frenchy is a world class fisherman and knew all the right spots to catch fish. Took excellent care of us while on the water, and we caught a bunch of trout!! 10/10 highly recommended
